Client & Appointment Policies

Welcome to Lotus Mudra Therapeutics. These policies create clear expectations, professional boundaries, and a respectful experience for every client.

Lotus Mudra Therapeutics provides massage therapy, Ayurveda and integrative wellness education, yoga, meditation, Reiki, YogaMomPreneur programs, and related wellness services within the education, training, credentials, and applicable professional scope of the practitioner providing the service.

Professional & Therapeutic Boundaries

All massage therapy and hands-on therapeutic services provided by Lotus Mudra Therapeutics are strictly professional and therapeutic.

Sexual behavior, comments, requests, or misconduct are not tolerated. A session may be ended immediately if inappropriate sexual behavior occurs. The appointment will remain subject to the full service charge, and future services may be refused.

Professional boundaries apply equally to the practitioner and client and are intended to maintain a safe, respectful therapeutic environment.

Appointments & Arrival

Appointment times are reserved specifically for you.

New massage clients should complete all required intake information before their first appointment. Please provide complete and accurate information regarding relevant health history, injuries, medications, pregnancy, recent procedures, and other conditions that may affect your session.

Please arrive approximately 5–10 minutes before your scheduled appointment when additional intake or preparation is necessary.

Late arrival may shorten the hands-on portion of your appointment so that subsequent appointments can begin on time. The original appointment fee still applies.

Payment & Reservations

Massage appointments are paid in advance at the time of booking. Advance payment reserves your appointment time specifically for you.

Online appointment payments are processed securely through the payment processor provided through our booking system.

Prices and service lengths are displayed at the time of booking. Any optional additions, mobile-service charges, or other agreed-upon fees will be communicated before they are charged.

Gratuities are never required. If you choose to leave a gratuity, it is appreciated but entirely at your discretion.

Cancellation, Rescheduling & No-Shows

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

With at least 24 hours’ notice, your prepaid appointment may be transferred to another available appointment time.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice and missed appointments are non-refundable, because that appointment time was reserved specifically for you and generally cannot be filled on short notice.

Emergencies and unexpected illness do happen. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of Lotus Mudra Therapeutics when circumstances reasonably warrant one.

If Lotus Mudra Therapeutics must cancel your appointment, you may choose to transfer your payment to another appointment or receive a refund.

Massage Therapy, Attire & Draping

Thai Massage: Thai Massage is generally performed fully clothed on a floor mat. Please wear clean, comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.

Table Massage: For table massage, clients undress only to their individual level of comfort. Professional draping is used throughout the session as appropriate to the service being provided.

Your comfort and consent matter throughout your session. You may request changes to pressure, positioning, techniques, areas being addressed, or draping at any time. You may also ask to stop a technique or end the session.

Health Information & Scope of Services

Massage therapy is provided by a Florida Licensed Massage Therapist and is practiced within the scope established by Florida law.

Massage therapy may include massage therapy assessment and manipulation of the soft tissues of the body within the practitioner’s professional scope and training.

Lotus Mudra Therapeutics also provides educational and complementary wellness services that may draw from Ayurveda, yoga, meditation, Reiki, breathwork, lifestyle education, and related traditions.

These services are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, emergency medical care, psychotherapy, or treatment that requires another licensed healthcare professional.

Clients are encouraged to maintain an appropriate relationship with their physician and other qualified healthcare professionals and to seek medical evaluation when symptoms or circumstances warrant it.

When a complementary or integrative approach is provided within the scope of a Florida healthcare license, the nature of that approach, relevant practitioner credentials, and appropriate benefits and risks will be communicated so that the client can make an informed decision.

Client Information & Confidentiality

Your personal and health information is treated respectfully and confidentially.

Information may be collected and maintained as necessary for providing services, operating a Florida-licensed massage establishment, processing appointments and payments, and complying with applicable legal and professional requirements.

Information will not be unnecessarily disclosed. Information may be disclosed when authorized by you or when disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law.

Mobile Services

Mobile massage and wellness services may be available by arrangement.

Travel charges are determined based on the location, travel time, and service requested and will be disclosed before the appointment is confirmed.

For everyone’s safety and comfort, Lotus Mudra Therapeutics reserves the right to decline or discontinue an outcall appointment when the environment is unsafe, inappropriate, or unsuitable for professional services.

Yoga, Workshops & Group Experiences

Yoga classes, Sattvic Saturdays, workshops, meditation sessions, sound experiences, and other group offerings may involve physical movement, breathwork, relaxation practices, or other experiential activities.

Please participate according to your own abilities and communicate relevant injuries, pregnancy, health conditions, or limitations before participating when appropriate.

You are always welcome to modify a practice, decline a technique, or stop participating.

Individual workshops or events may have additional registration, cancellation, or participation terms displayed when booking.

YogaMomPreneur Programs & Education

YogaMomPreneur is a program of Lotus Mudra Therapeutics LLC focused on education, intentional living, integrative wellness, yoga, Ayurveda, meditation, and practical support for parents, caregivers, families, and those preparing for parenthood.

YogaMomPreneur programs may include individual education, group programs, workshops, online learning, yoga and meditation practices, lifestyle education, and other integrative wellness experiences.

YogaMomPreneur is not a separate healthcare provider or medical practice. Services offered through YogaMomPreneur are provided by Lotus Mudra Therapeutics LLC and remain subject to the professional scope, policies, and applicable credentials of the practitioner providing them.

Mutual Respect

Lotus Mudra Therapeutics welcomes clients and families of diverse backgrounds, identities, beliefs, orientations, and life experiences.

Respect is expected in both directions. Lotus Mudra Therapeutics reserves the right to decline or discontinue services when professional boundaries cannot be maintained, when a client’s behavior creates an unsafe environment, or when a requested service is outside the practitioner’s training or professional scope.

Policy Acknowledgment

By scheduling and purchasing an appointment or registering for a class or workshop, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review the policies applicable to your service.

For massage therapy and other services requiring intake or informed consent, additional information or acknowledgment may be required before services begin.
